TCB:Verifiability


Authors and editors of articles on TCB should be careful to include information on a page only if it is verifiable. Websites without authors listed as well as pages without dates are suspect. Domain names can also give clues; for example, .gov and .org websites may have a higher authority than a .com website.

Tertiary sources (such as Wikipedia and other encyclopedias) should not be used for verification of facts.
