Noble gases do not dissolve in minerals, however, recent research provide evidence that these gases do interact under specific conditions. Researchers at Brown have determined that all six Noble gases are highly soluble in amphibole. The work is an exciting piece to the puzzle regarding how noble gases are cycled between the atmosphere and the depths of the Earth.
