  3. What is the meaning of the term ‘pearling’ used in the article? What is it used for in Webb’s work?
  4. Mention at least FOUR problems that plastic production has brought to our planet. What physical and/or chemical properties of plastics influence the problems?
  5. Why is ‘dwindling’ a socioeconomic advantage according to the article?
  6. What benefits will the development of these bioplastics will bring to our communities according to professor Webb?
  7. What is your personal opinion about the article? Would it be possible? Why or why not?
