TheChemBook.com is a chemistry textbook wiki written for high school students located in California. All materials were developed to correlate with the California Chemistry Content Standards.

The course is divided into six units. Unit 0 helps students develop the skills necessary to succeed during the course. Unit 0 emphasizes the math and measurement skills. Yet this is a perfect time to introduce students to the investigation and experimentation standards. Units 1-5 match the reporting clusters developed by the State of California.

The pacing plan (instructional days) provides enough time for the introduction of each standard prior to the STAR. Additional time is provided for a review of the five units.
