Lesson Content

Equation: Q = m c ΔT or Q = Cp m ΔT
Specific Heat is the ratio of the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of a certain amount of substance by one degree to the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of the same amount of a reference substance (which is generally water).
