The Ideal Gas Law
The gas laws are a set of laws that describe the relationship between thermodynamic temperature (T), absolute pressure (P) and volume (V) of gases. {Tia Per.05)
Dalton's Law of Partial Pressures
Kinetic Molecular Theory
- Matter is composed of small particles (molecules). The measure of space that the molecules occupy (volume) is derived from the space inbetween the molecules and not the space the molecules contain themselves. The molucules are in constant motion. This motion is different for the 3 states of matter.{Tia Per.5}
Graham's Law
Effusion is the passage of a gas through small holes in its container. For example, a helium balloon deflates over time because the helium atoms (molecules) effuse through the tiny pores of the balloon.
